Full hookups
Also called: FHU
A campsite with water, sewer and electric connections.
Full hookups mean you can stay as long as you like without managing tanks or batteries: fresh water from a spigot, a sewer connection for draining tanks, and electric service (usually 30 or 50 amp).
At a full-hookup site, many RVers leave the gray valve open but keep the black valve closed until the tank is at least two-thirds full, then dump it, so there’s enough liquid to carry solids out.
