Class A motorhome
Also called: Class A
The largest motorhomes, built on a bus-style or commercial truck chassis with a flat front and a large windshield. They can be gas (front engine) or diesel (usually a rear-engine diesel pusher).
Class A motorhomes typically range from about 26 to 45 feet. They offer the most living and storage space, and many owners tow a car (a toad) for local driving.
Gas Class As are generally less expensive; diesel pushers offer more power, a quieter cab, air-ride suspension and higher towing capacity. Check length and height against park and campground limits before you travel.
