Will it fit? National park check

5 doesn’t fit5 restrictions or depends4 fits

This RV’s published size (25′ 5″ long, 7′ 10″ wide, 11′ 5″ tall) checked against the RV rules at 14 popular national parks.

  • Doesn’t fit

    11′ 5″ tall. The limit is 11′ 4″ including A/C units.

  • Doesn’t fit

25′ 5″ long. Vehicles and combinations are limited to 21′.

  • Doesn’t fit

    25′ 5″ long. The limit is 23′.

  • Doesn’t fit

25′ 5″ long. Old Fall River Road is limited to 25′.

  • Doesn’t fit

25′ 5″ long. Artists Drive is limited to 25′.

  • Restrictions

25′ 5″ long counts as oversized: park in Lot 1, Lot B (30′ and under) or Lot D. Hermit Road is shuttle-only most of the year.

  • Restrictions

Main roads are fine, but six scenic roads, including Roaring Fork and Rich Mountain Road, ban RVs and trailers of any size.

  • Restrictions

25′ 5″ long. The park advises against vehicles over 22′ on the climb to Giant Forest and bans them on Moro Rock and Crystal Cave roads. Use the Big Stump entrance.

  • Restrictions

Vehicles 23′ and longer can’t park at the main viewpoints mid-April to mid-October. Use the shuttle or the Southern Scenic Drive viewpoints.

  • Restrictions

No length limit, but only 42 oversize parking spaces park-wide. The park suggests leaving big rigs in town or at the visitor center.

  • Likely fits

11′ 5″ tall: only inches under the 11′ 8″ underpass. Measure including your A/C before you go.

  • Fits

Fits 9 of 10 campgrounds, including Fishing Bridge RV Park (hookups). Towing a car adds to your length.

  • Fits

Fits 9 of 10 campgrounds that take RVs, including Lower Pines and North Pines.

  • Fits

    11′ 5″ tall clears Marys Rock Tunnel (12′ 8″).

Published dimensions usually leave out mirrors, awnings and sometimes roof A/C, and many park limits include them. Rules were checked against National Park Service pages on October 27, 2026 and can change. Confirm with the park before you go. Full park rules & sources

How long can you boondock?

Fresh 35 · Gray 32 · Black 32 gal · about 3 days for 2 people

Estimate how many days of dry camping (no hookups) this RV’s published tanks allow for your group.

Fresh water

Gray water

Black water

How this is estimated

Tank sizes are the manufacturer’s published capacities. Daily use is an estimate per person: sinks and dishes 1–3 gal, toilet flushing 0.5–1.5 gal, drinking and cooking 0.5–1 gal, and 2–8 gal per shower, depending on the water-use setting. Sinks and showers drain to the gray tank; toilet water plus about 0.25 gal of waste per person goes to the black tank. “Mostly park or vault toilets” counts a quarter of normal toilet use. Real use varies a lot, and tank gauges are often inaccurate, so plan to leave a margin. Battery power and propane can also limit a trip and aren’t included.

About these prices
  • New units only. Prices are advertised offers from a small sample of dealers, not an exhaustive nationwide search or an out-the-door quote. Options and equipment vary by unit.
  • Listings are re-checked every 48 hours, and the lowest-priced unit is re-checked daily. Initial collection and source failures can delay updates.
  • Price history observations begin when tracking starts; earlier discounts are not reconstructed. History includes listings that may no longer be available.
